A Poem by Jevin Lee Albuquerque

Jackson Square

……

Stuffed-up environs, the non-poetic

Washed-up, silence

Boredom, despair, undone

Until: horns bless dirty streets

Alcohol, the tongue

Minds washed in gutters

Of brass, where beauty is found

…..
