Martin – born on a fault line in Anchorage, Alaska and raised at the foot of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs – imprinted on the natural world. She has made her home in Saint Paul, Minnesota near the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, her poems invite the reader to join her in discovering all that is hidden in plain sight.
