Aftermath
I.
My steps chase the slick
rain from mirrored stones, storm
shimmers found and lost.
II.
Cardinal passes,
wing shadow descends to cool
bricks, the waning red.
III.
Black and grey wing has
lost a feather to these stones;
small thunder passing.
