Amelie Langland is a trans woman who grew up in Alabama. She received her MFA in poetry from the University of Arkansas where she was a Carolyn F. Walton Cole Fellow. A Pushcart and Best of the Net nominee, her poetry has appeared in Best New Poets, the minnesota review, The Journal, RHINO Poetry, among many others. When she is not teaching or gardening, she is most likely watching PBS.
